Renowned Journalist, Onouha Appointed Media Aide To Senator Samdady

Senator Samuel Anyanwu popularly known as ‘Samdady’ has appointed a renowned Journalist and Public Relations Practitioner, Mr. Ikenna Onuoha as Special Adviser on Media.
Young Senator Anyanwu, who represented Imo East in the 8th Senate served as a two time Executive Chairman of Ikeduru local government and member representing the constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly for eight years.
Senator Anyanwu, a onetime Chairman, Senate committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions was widely called one of the three wise men during his days at the Imo State House of Assembly where he gave his best to Ikeduru people.
His new spokesman, Mr. Onuoha has previously served as Media Aide to Commissioner for Special Duties and Chief of Staff to Imo State Government respectively.
He later became Senior Special Assistant on (Media) to Secretary to the Government of Imo State as well as Director of Media and Publicity to a Governorship Campaign Council.
Until his appointment, Mr. Onuoha was an Editor, Public Relations Consultant, and development media strategist who maintained one of the most popular controversial columns “Top Secret” where he discussed myriads of topical issues of local, national and international concern.
A team player who has proved his mettle in the prints and electronic media and was adjudged one of the best programme presenters, Editors and Writers. A onetime National Coordinator, Orlu Zone Congress of Journalists (OZCOJ) amongst others.
Mr. Onuoha, a member of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and South East Media Editors’ Forum (SEMEF) holds both Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc) and Master of Science Degree (M.Sc) in Mass Communication from the prestigious Imo State University, Owerri.
His new appointment has offered him fresh opportunity to propagate the programmes of his boss having handled similar position in the past and was splashed with commendations owing to his weight of experience in the media profession.
